AI Assistant Safety & Limitations

General information, with boundaries designed for child-health use

What the assistant can do

When enabled by the user, the assistant can explain general child-health topics, summarise selected Growie records and help prepare questions for a professional. It should distinguish the family's recorded information from general guidance.

What it cannot do

The assistant cannot examine a child, confirm a diagnosis, prescribe treatment or provide a personalised medication dose. Responses can be incomplete, incorrect or unsuitable for a specific situation.

Do not use the assistant as an emergency service or as the only basis for a medical decision. Contact an appropriate professional when you are worried about a child.

Emergency situations

If a child may be seriously ill, is not breathing normally, is unresponsive or appears to need urgent help, use the emergency service where you are. Do not wait for an AI response. Service names and phone numbers vary by country.

Data choice

AI features require explicit user enablement. Review the Privacy Policy for how relevant selected-child information may be used to generate a response and use the available controls if you do not want to use the feature.
